19 at West Hospital in loughby, at the age of Dr. George began his tice as one of the original founders of the Euclid ic. After serving three distinguished years in the European Theatre of combat World War I1, Dr. George and eight other physicians formed the Euclid Clinic, named after the city which they were located. The name was later changed to Euclid Mednet.

Through his leadership and committment, the Clinic grew steadily and eventually expanded into four branch clinics, creasing their multispecialty staff to over 100 physicians. Dr. George retired from Euclid Clinic in 1980 continued to practice medicine, serving as the medical director of Manor Care Nursing Home from 1980-1989. He is remembered by loyal and beloved patients throughout Cuyahoga and Lake County. was born one of eight dren in Ashtabula, OH.

1915 of parents, Lulu Amien and Abdullah George. graduated from Cleveland East High School In 1936. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Case Western Reserve University 1939, he entered Western Reserve University School of Medicine, graduating with a degree in Medicine 1942. He completed his ternship at City Hospital Cleveland in 1943, which he entered the Army. Upon returning from Army, he started and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Veterans Hospital of Cleveland.

finishing in 1948. He tered the Army, July 1943 and rose to the rank Major. He was Commander of the 92nd Medical Treatment Battalion World War I1 and participated in four major battles cluding the Invasion of European Continent, Battle for Recapture France, the Battle Rhine, and Battle of Bulge. 1945 he was awarded the bronze medal with four stars for meritorious service. He was licensed to practice medicine in both Ohio and Florida.

He ceived a Certificate of tinction for 50 years membership in the Ohio State Medical Association and was awarded for years of service to Euclid General Hospital. He was Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American Geriatrics Society. was also a 35-year member of the Kiwanis Club of clid, OH. His beloved wife, Dorothy, died June 8, 1999. They were married for blessed years.

They enjoyed playing bridge, dancing, and golf. After his retirement they spent their winters as golfing members Wyndemere Country Club In Naples, FL. He also Joyed photography and was an ardent football fan. also served as President GPK Construction Dover Investments. He survived by sister, Martha Martin; sons, Geoffrey George (Lea) and George M.D.

Hollister. She received her B.A. in Sociology from Beloit College in 1943. Nancy was assigned to the American Red Cross from 1944-1948 where she traveled to Iceland and Okinawa, Japan. From 1950-1952 she was with Army Special Services, stationed in Austria.

She was the Social Director at Shaker Heights High School in Shaker Heights, Ohio from 1954-1962. After two years in La Jolla, Nancy returned to Shaker Heights High Director School as Activity and retired from Shaker in 1981. Nancy was a member of The United Church of Christ in Williams Bay, a member of the Explorare Chapter of Questers, a member of the American Personnel and Guidance Phi Beta Phi and Pi Lambda Theta ity. Survivors include her brother, Eugene (Marion) Hollister of Williams Bay; a nephew, Peter (Mary) Hollister of Viroqua, two nieces, Catherine Hollister of Highlands Ranch, CO. and Polly (Terry) Leahy of Beloit; four grandnephews and one grandniece.
