1982 Ferrari 400i 5-Speed
This 1982 Ferrari 400i GT is the second silver 5-speed we’ve seen recently, with this example showing only 32k miles on the clock. The black leather interior was recently redone, and new paint was applied 3 years ago. The dual fuel pumps were replaced, and the fuel system was treated at the dealer, although the seller points out some hesitation at higher RPMs. A pending divorce unfortunately has this one moving fast, and this seems like a cheap ticket. Find this one here on eBay in Wayne, New Jersey for $20k.

Never This Nice: Restored Volkswagen SP2
This Volkswagen SP2-s model year isn’t mentioned, but it wasn’t very old when exported from native Brazil to Britain in 1978. Only just over 10,000 were built between 1972 and 1976, and many if not most have by now submitted to corrosion or neglect. We’ve featured a few Stateside examples recently, but this is the first we’ve found in Europe. It’s said to currently reside in San Francisco, California, though the photos shown within the ad and attached Flickr account were taken in Germany. Find it here at The Samba’s classifieds for $49k OBO.

This Owned-38-Years 1948 Buick 76S Roadmaster Sedanette was restored by the seller in 1978 to share with his father who passed away later that year. The long hood makes the sweeping roof look even lower than on other Sedanettes, and we love the Fireball Dynaflash straight-8 engine. Find it here on eBay in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania with no reserve.

Project with a COA: 1955 Porsche 356 Speedster
This 1959 Porsche 356 Speedster (chassis 87098) has been with the selling family for over fifty years. It’s a project, but is said to be a mostly complete, mostly rust free one with a freshly rebuilt motor and trans. It’s obviously been sitting for a while, and seems to be missing its interior, but looks very dry and straight. The car was originally white with black interior per the COA, which is similar to James Dean’s car and a combo that works better than expected on these. Find it here on eBay in Kila, Montana with reserve not met.

BaT Success Story: Bye Bye ’67 Corvette
This just in from the listing owner of the Seller Submitted 1967 Corvette featured here on BaT three weeks ago:
“Hello,
My Corvette sold very quickly after the listing hit BaT. The Gentleman that bought was actually unaware of the listing but he was shocked to see how the eBay views had gone up from 1500 to 3700 in 24 hours. I had multiple inquires from all over the world. I do not know if they were BaT releated but my guess was many of them were. I chose the guy I sold it to. Not for his offer because an offer came in higher, but because he was a good guy that will use it as it was intended and be a proper steward to it. He even says it will remain an unrestored car.
Thanks Again,
Frank C.
PS: Please remember to email me any ’88 M5s that are submitted.”
Thanks Frank! Congratulations on the successful sale! -BaT

Pre-USA: Swedish Market 1953 Volvo PV444
This 1953 Volvo PV444 (chassis 35802) was delivered new in Stockholm, Sweden, and was exported to the US in 1985. Volvos this early were not officially imported to the USA by the manufacturer, to this one is a rarity. Prior to its arrival it was resprayed in the original black, and it must’ve been a good quality job as it still presents very well in photos. Mileage is given as 55k and is believed to be original. The little 1.4 B4B is original to the car, and overall it looks to be in beautiful condition. We love the early details like the split rear screen, pillar-mounted signals, and grille details. It also gets extra credit for the Snowball Rally decal in the windscreen! Find it here on eBay in San Francisco, California with a $14,500 BIN.

Sub-$3k 1972 Datsun 240Z Project

Euro-Spec 1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2
This 1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 (chassis 7119) is a so-called interim model, meaning it retains the four headlight fascia of earlier cars but with the five speed and top-hinged pedals of later cars. Said to be matching numbers, it wears a recent respray and new interior in the original colors. We dig this color combo and the blue California plates if genuinely associated with the VIN. Find it here at DriverSource in Houston, Texas for $179,500.
