Pastor Robert Lee “Bob” Ware age 75, a resident of Belington went home to be with the Lord, Friday May 27, 2022 at his home, following a period of declining health.
He was born October 29, 1946 at Junior, WV a son of the late Orval Corell “Decker” and Alma Kathern Harris Ware. On November 23, 1965 he was united in marriage to the former Charlet Ann Claybourne who preceded him in death on March 21, 2022.
He is survived by two sons; James Edward Ware and wife Heather and Jeffrey Lee Ware all of Belington, one sister Mary Belle Phillips of Belington, additional survivors include five grandchildren; Jonathon Michael Ware, Matthew James Ware, Nathaniel Robert Ware, Charity Ware Weaver, Timothy Michael Ware, and two great-grandchildren, James Oliver Weaver and Noah Weaver.
Bob attended the Schools of Barbour County and was a 1966 graduate of Philip Barbour High School. In 1966 he was drafted into the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He was formerly a coal miner having worked at Consol Mines in Moundsville and Kitt Energy Corporation in Philippi. He was lastly employed with Dingess Lumber Co. in Belington where he was the dimension mill operator. Bob pastored the Faith Deliverance Ministries Church in Belington for the past several years. He enjoyed farming, operating his tractor, and loved wood working. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home 56. N Brandenburg St. in Belington on Monday May 30, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm and again on Tuesday May 31, 2022 from 8am to11am the funeral hour where final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Robert Shingleton officiating. Interment will then follow in the Trinity Cemetery near Belington. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Mountain Hospice 1002 Crim Ave, Belington, WV 26250.
